Cindi Gelman Cynthia Gelman, BS Pharm, RPh, Vice President of Operations
Cindi has more than 25 years of experience in the health information industry. She earned her degree in Pharmacy from the University of Colorado. She held many positions at Thomson/Micromedex, including Vice President, Drug Information Publishing, and Senior Vice President Editorial and Product Management. Cindi has also worked with Pharmacy Choice, Inc as the Program Director for RxTechSchool, an online training program for pharmacy technicians and served as faculty at Arapahoe Community College in their Pharmacy Technician Program. She has also held an Adjoint academic appointment at the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and has worked as the Operations Director for a local non-profit.
Jason Kilgour Jason Kilgour, President
Jason has served as President of MedKeeper since its launch in April, 2001. Prior to MedKeeper, he was Director of Business Development at Thomson Micromedex, a leading provider of health information to professionals and consumers. At Thomson, he was responsible for managing the company’s strategic planning, new product development, and business development activities. Prior to Thomson, Jason held positions in Marketing and Business Development at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. During his tenure at Novartis, he was responsible for activities including capacity planning, new product planning, product line forecasting, market research, strategic planning and partnership development.
Russ Kraus Russ Kraus, Vice President of Information Technology
Russ has thirty years continual experience in numerous facets of business information technology and technology management. He has been responsible for the computerization and automation of many business processes in the non-profit, wholesale distribution, manufacturing and cable television industries. He has managed internal IT departments through the evolution of information technology from mainframe and minicomputers to current web based distributed systems. Almost half his career was at Micromedex where he developed some of the original CD-ROM information products as well as serving as the in-house business IT manager.
Ingrid Lewis Ingrid Lewis, PharmD, BCPS, Vice President of Informatics
Dr. Lewis has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a board-certified pharmacotherapist. She has been active in the drug information market for over 10 years, most recently as Medical Editor for Micromedex, Inc., the world’s largest provider of drug information to healthcare professionals. Prior to Micromedex, Dr. Lewis was a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Geriatrics for the VA Medical Center in North Carolina. During her work with both Micromedex and the VA Medical Center, Dr. Lewis has held a number of academic positions, including Adjoint Professor at the Colorado Health Sciences School of Pharmacy and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy. Dr. Lewis has over 30 publications to her credit and is a frequent presenter on best practices in pharmaceutical treatment.
Miles Redmon N. Miles Redmon, Director of Software Development
Miles has 22 years experience in software development in the areas of pharmaceutical and clinical information systems, space technology, telecommunications and retail. Before joining MedKeeper in 2001, Miles was responsible for the development of ecommerce and data warehousing applications for such leading companies as ROIDirect, DbIntellect (a division of EDS), ADP/SIS, McGraw-Hill School Systems, Titan, Integral Systems, SAIC and CSC. At MedKeeper, Miles spearheads the technical development of our new products.
Brad Smith Brad Smith, Director of Business Development
Brad is a seasoned sales executive with over 25 years of sales and sales management experience. Prior to joining MedKeeper, Brad worked with Medical Economics and Micromedex to institute a program licensing the PDR, UPS DI, and flat-file content to medical software developers and consumer health websites. Under Brad’s tenure the database licensing business grew organically from a zero dollar base to a multi-million dollar product line. Brad worked for West Publishing Company for 11 years in a sales management capacity, working to integrate WestLaw and other computerized legal research products into colleges and law schools throughout the United States. He managed up to 21 direct reports simultaneously and over a $25 million base of sales.
