Large hospital in Virginia purchases Formulary Management, expanding MedKeeper’s relationship with a Top Three Hospital System (3/1/2009)

A three campus hospital in Virginia has selected MedKeeper’s FormChecker formulary management system for use in its hospital. The hospital has been named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals and the #1 hospital for stroke care in Virginia by HealthGrades in 2007. The MedKeeper Pharmacy Hub is a turnkey portal for hospital pharmacies. The hosted, web-based application integrates MedKeeper’s formulary management, interventions documentation, clinical documentation, drug information, sterile preparation quality assurance, and pharmacy communications modules into one interface. The product was licensed under a strategic relationship with Tampa-based Gold Standard, Inc., an Elsevier company.
