7-Hospital System Adopts MedKeeper’s Formulary Management Service (3/14/2008)

MedKeeper announced that its FormChecker formulary management service has been selected for use across a 3,500 bed, 7-hospital health system in the Midwest. The network will adopt the integrated drug information and formulary management application, which enables users to access FormChecker formulary information from directly inside the award-winning Clinical Pharmacology drug database provided by Gold Standard.

FormChecker is an easy-to-use formulary management and communication system that aids in JCAHO compliance, ensures current pharmacy guidelines are followed and reduces time spent on management of formulary conversions. Using a web browser, pharmacies can effortlessly update formularies, guidelines, alerts and other pharmacy-related information. Changes are instantly made available to physicians, nurses, and pharmacists over the Internet, in print, and on Palm and Pocket PC PDAs.
